This ambitious infrastructure project in Ibadan, Nigeria, consisted of constructing a 6.8 km asphalt road network to serve a busy municipal area. Over an 8-month timeline, AEC executed the entire scope—drainage systems, roadbeds, subbase and base layers, hot-mix asphalt paving, culvert installation, and traffic management elements. The road not only improved accessibility but also catalyzed economic activity in the surrounding communities. Local topography and seasonal challenges demanded adaptive planning and continuous stakeholder coordination. Through our Nigerian branch, AEC ensured that the project aligned with international road safety and design standards, while also sourcing labor and materials locally to support community development. This project exemplifies AEC’s commitment to building infrastructure that uplifts lives and fosters regional growth.
